Feeding and Storage
Keeping the Good Stuff Good
Fresh food deserves a little extra care.
Our goodies are made in small batches, and some need refrigeration or freezing to stay fresh.
Frozen Slobber Bites
Keep frozen until ready to use. Thaw in the refrigerator, never on the counter.
Once thawed, follow the use-by instructions on the package. Do not leave perishable food sitting out at room temperature.
Fresh Treats & Celebration Cakes
Storage instructions vary by recipe. Check your product label for refrigeration, freezing, and use-by information.
Serving Suggestions
Start with a small portion when introducing a new food.
Slobber Bites are intended to complement your pet's regular diet, not replace it.
A Few Important Reminders
Always wash your hands and your pet's feeding bowls after handling food. Keep products properly sealed and stored at the temperatures indicated on their labels.
If a product appears spoiled, has damaged packaging, or was improperly stored, do not feed it to your pet.
The Bottom Line
Keep it fresh. Keep it safe. And prepare for the possibility of enthusiastic drooling.
A Little Note About Feeding
Our food toppers and treats are intended for supplemental or intermittent feeding unless otherwise indicated on the individual product label. They are not formulated to replace a complete and balanced diet.
Every pet is different. Please review ingredients, introduce new foods gradually, and consult your veterinarian about specific dietary needs.
And while our goodies are made with recognizable ingredients, they're intended for pets, not people. Even if they smell pretty good.
